In that case, the easiest way to upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro is through the Windows Store. To be able to update to Windows 10 Pro version, follow the steps below:
First, make sure your PC is up to date with the latest version of Windows 10.
Step 1: Open the Start Menu, select Settings, or use the Windows + I key combination.
Step 2: Select Update & Security in the Windows Settings window.
Step 3: Open Activation in the left feature pane, select Go to the Store.
Immediately, you will be taken to the Microsoft store where you can buy a version of Windows 10 Pro by clicking the Buy button.
Step 4: Sign in to your Microsoft account, enter the payment method. Windows 10 Home will automatically upgrade to Windows 10 Pro in a snap.
Using Product Key
If you have a copy of Windows 10 Pro, or maybe you found a retail copy of Windows 10 Pro, you will have a Product Key (also known as a license key) being added to that version of Windows 10. It would help if you replaced the Product key you are adding to the Windows 10 Home you are using. Proceed as follows:
First, check if your PC has updated to the latest version
Step 1: Navigate again to Start Menu => Settings => Updates and Security => Activation, Inside the Activation tab, select Change product key. The Product Key window will display.
Step 2: Enter the 25 codes of Windows 10 Pro you already have. Click Next, if the key is correct, the Windows 10 Home to Pro upgrade will begin in a few moments, and you will receive a notification that Windows 10 has upgraded successfully.
How To Remove The Product Key From Windows 10
If you have a full operating system key of Windows 10 Pro, you can remove it and transfer the rights to another computer. If you want to continue using Windows 10 Pro, you need to re-enter the removed key above. And here’s how to remove the key, but you should read this article first to get the computer’s key first:
Step 1: At the computer you want to remove the Windows 10 Pro license, press the Windows + R shortcut to open the Run dialog box, enter cmd and click OK.
Step 2: In the cmd software interface window, enter the following characters and press Enter to cancel the license of Windows 10 Pro.
Step 3: Switch to an unlicensed computer, navigate in the order of Start Menu => Settings => Updates and Security => Activation.
