Windows 10 is the latest operating system and regularly receives new improvements and upgrades. However, Windows 10 is not a perfect operating system and there are no errors during the operation. One of the common problems in the recent Windows 10 updates is the error message “No Internet Secured“.
Called an error, but users can still access the Internet normally while the message “No Internet Secured” still appears. The cause of this phenomenon is believed to be from the wrong allocation of the IP address when entering the network. To fix this error is not difficult, try the following methods.
Restart the computer and router
If the cause is not too complicated, we can fix it by restarting the computer and router or network modem. This method is simple but effective, if you are lucky you will fix the problem.
How To Fix No Internet Secured Windows 10
Another very effective solution that you can apply on your computer when you encounter the error message “No Internet Secured” is to refresh the IP configuration. This action will reconstruct the faulty machine’s IP configuration and will be completely resolved if the cause is the IP distribution.
Renew IP Address Windows 10
Here I will run the command in the Powershell admin environment. You can do the same in the Command Prompt admin environment.
Step 1. Press Windows + S => type search powershell => then click on Run as Administrator.
Step 2. Now the powershell window will appear, enter the following two commands:
First is the ipconfig/ release command and press Enter.
Then command ipconfig/ renew and press Enter.
Turn off the VPN
VPN software makes you more secure when accessing the internet. However, in this case, it can cause a “No Internet Secured” error. To find out, turn off the VPN tool and access the internet. If the error is fixed, the cause is VPN software, you need to replace or remove it.
Winsock is a form of protocol that manages most of the communication processes of Windows 10 computers with the network environment. Resetting Winsock will refresh the settings, eliminating problems occurring in using the computer.
First you need to open the Powershell admin or Command Prompt admin window, if you do not know, please refer to the way in item 2 above.
In the Powershell admin environment, enter the following command and press Enter:
netsh winsock reset catalog
The command will take effect immediately, please check your network connection.
Using Network & Internet
There are a lot of things on your Win 10 computer that needs the Internet to function properly. So you need to check if they are connected to the network or not.
Step 1. Right-click on the network icon on the Taskbar => and click on Network & Internet Settings as shown below.

Step 3. In the new interface will appear the type of computer’s network connection. Right-click on the network you are using and get the error, and then select Properties.
Step 4. A new window will appear, where you need to make sure all options are checked except for the Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol.
Finally, click OK.
Turn off IPv6 protocol
IPv6 is a relatively new network protocol, but not all networking devices and IPS are working well with it. Therefore, when your computer is enabled iPv6, it can interfere with the internet connection. To check if the problem lies here, do the following.
Step 1. You access the window to manage network settings as part 5 above.
Step 2. In the Properties window, uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 and click OK.
Update network adapters
Update network drivers are what you should do when you have internet problems.
Step 1. Right-click the icon This PC => then click Manage.
Step 2. The management window will appear, click on Device Manager => double click on Network Adapters => then right-click on the network card you are using and select Update driver.
Use debugging tools
Finally, if the error is still not resolved, use the Network Troubleshooter tool available on the operating system. This is a tool to find and fix basic errors on the system automatically.
