How to Check RAM Bus in Windows 10
There are many ways to help you and I will choose the 2 most common ones you can easily do.
Use CPU-Z Software
You’ve probably heard a lot about this software, CPU-Z is a freeware that helps you check a lot of information about your computer’s configuration. You can see information about motherboard type, chipset, memory type, bus, processor name…
Step 1: You download this software here and then install it like other normal software.
After installing and launching the software, you will see its interface as shown below. Contains a lot of tabs and each contains a lot of information about your computer.
Step 2: To see the RAM Bus, select the Memory tab and then view the DRAM Frequency information. If you are using SDRAM, this is the RAM bus you need.
But for the type of DDRAM, DDRAM2, DDRAM3 very popular today, you need to get the parameter DRAM Frequency x 2. That means our RAM bus is 797.9 x 2 = 1600.
Using Task Manager
This way is much simpler, but I want to suggest using CPU-Z because using the software will see many other details.
First, you right-click on the Taskbar and select Task Manager. Then select the Performance tab, select the Memory section and see the parameters at the Speed line.
Here it is correct to do my computer with 1600 MHz Bus.
